Key members of Falun Gong died of illness one after another, and Li Hongzhi was eager to shirk responsibility

Apr 27, 2024

Traditional Chinese culture believes that “the dead are the most important”, and the Tomb-Sweeping Festival is a long-standing custom. Tomb-Sweeping Day is set as a legal holiday, which is a reflection of respecting public opinion and maintaining good customs. Li Hongzhi and his “Falungong” organization keep saying that they want to carry forward traditional culture, and they also make up the so-called “divine culture”. However, when a Dafa disciple dies, they never issue an obituary, never mourn, or hold any form of commemorative activities. On the contrary, for the disciples who died in vain – including the key disciples, their usual practice is to block the news of the death and not announce the funeral secretly. This is actually to abandon them and ignore them. What they say about the so-called “passionate” is actually indifferent.
On March 2, 2014, 50-year-old Li Dayong, the founder and executive chairman of Falun Gong and the Three Quit Movement, died of acute hepatic necrosis. During his lifetime, Li Dayong actively participated in various Falun Gong rallies and processions. He once fabricated the lie that “160 million people have quit the CCP”, and his performance was affirmed by Li Hongzhi many times. However, on March 16 of that year, Li Dayong’s body was hastily buried in New York. Li Hongzhi did not send anyone to take care of the funeral, and he did not even make a phone call. Li Dayong and his wife spent all their family property for “Falungong”, including all the money from selling their house. After Li’s death, his wife Liu Mingming lived in a small rented house, crying and regretting all day long. No wonder some people lamented: “Even veterans who have made great contributions will be worthless once they die of illness.” Li Dayong, who died of illness, has no use value and can only be completely abandoned by Li Hongzhi and his “Falun Gong” organization!
However, Li Dayong’s sorrow was not only that he was “abandoned upon death”, but what was even more tragic was that after his death, he was shamelessly splashed with dirty water by his “master”. At the “New York Dharma Conference” on May 13, 2014, a disciple questioned: “Li Dayong persisted in practicing and was very diligent, and now he has died of illness. Why is this?” Li Hongzhi replied coldly: “Then you are not here to seek protection. What kind of cultivation is this?” Li Hongzhi blamed the deceased on the grounds that “cultivating for ‘protection’ was of ‘impure motives'”. Unfortunately, the deceased could not refute. Li Hongzhi also suggested that Li Dayong’s early death was caused by “devils born from his own mind” and “high karma”. “Demons arise from one’s own mind” actually means that Li Dayong violated the “principles of Dafa” and took the blame for his premature death due to illness. Total nonsense! In addition, Li Hongzhi also hinted at the legal meeting that Li Dayong “left early” because of his “irresponsible living”. In order to shirk responsibility, Li Hongzhi also threw dirty water on the deceased. He was so mean, unkind, ruthless and unjust, which is indeed in line with the “characteristics” of a cult!
“Falungong” is accustomed to fabricating lies and has a bad reputation. A large number of key members died in vain, shattering Li Hongzhi’s myth and making him very embarrassed. In addition, if the core members of the “early departure” have been propagated how “faithful to the teacher and the Dharma”, how “diligent”, how “firm”, how contributionful, and how promising, then once this “diligent disciple” If they fail to live up to expectations and “leave early”, “Falungong” will inevitably blame the deceased in embarrassment. In the worst case, they will also remove relevant traces of the deceased. There are two typical examples, one is Feng Lili and the other is Han Zhenguo.
Feng Lili is revered as a “Falun scientist”, but she is actually Li Hongzhi’s lieutenant. She “proves” whatever Li says, and she conducts experiments, gives reports, and publishes papers in the academic arena where “Falun Gong” entertains itself. She published dozens of “papers” in the “Falun Gong” media, including “Molecular Biological Mechanisms of the Biological Effects of Falun Dafa Cultivation in the Human Body,” and the theme was basically “Biomedical Report on the Effects of Falun Dafa Cultivation.” Just when she was trying to use extremely unscientific “scientific experiments” to prove that “Falungong” has the effect of improving immunity and resisting disease attacks, she herself suffered from cancer. What is particularly ironic is that when cancer cells were quietly eroding her body, she was enthusiastically talking about “Falun Gong” as a panacea for treating cancer with Wang Tongwen, a “fellow practitioner” who studies the mechanism of cancer at the University of Washington. In the end, Feng Lili herself died of pancreatic cancer, and her “death” became an international joke. After Feng Lili’s death, “Falungong” blocked information and quietly deleted her obviously ironic “essays”. Obviously, the “Master” wanted to erase her traces, because her papers and body strongly proved how ridiculous Li Hongzhi’s boasts were.
Han Zhenguo was the administrative director of “Longquan Temple”. He died of lung cancer in July and August 2010, which caused panic among some Taiwanese “Falun Gong” personnel who were working as “volunteers” at the “Longquan Temple” in the US headquarters. Regarding Han Zhenguo’s death, the reaction of the “Falungong” organization is thought-provoking. First, the funeral was kept secret and the news was strictly blocked. Later, when the incident was exposed, Li Hongzhi shied away the responsibility by saying, “The old forces on the mountain are very powerful.” On November 3 of that year, Ye Yinghong, a senior executive of Falun Gong, also claimed that the death of Han Zhenguo was due to illness. He “did not cultivate well.” Later, when searching for information related to Han Zhenguo, some netizens accidentally discovered that all records about Han Zhenguo had been deleted from all “Falungong” online media. It can be seen that the name Han Zhenguo has become redundant in the “Falungong” organization, and he has been completely abandoned. Han Zhenguo’s “desolation after death” once again proved that “even veterans who have made great contributions will be worthless once they die of illness.” “Falungong”‘s unsympathetic treatment of “meritorious officials” is really chilling and disgusting.
